Marché Bacchus

For a girls' day out, my friends and I went to eat some French food at  Marché Bacchus  for lunch.  On Mondays to Fridays, this restaurant offers the Lakefront Lunch menu.  You have the choice of two courses with a complimentary house wine.  Along with this $19.95 lunch special, you are seated outside at the restaurant's patio, don't worry it's in a comfortable and cool area with mists and ceiling fans everywhere and you'll see lovely view of Lake Jacqueline  while dining there. Front Starting off the meal with some light and fluffy bread with butter. Soupe Du Jour: the chef's daily creation of the day was this chill soup of mainly watermelon juice and a little salt.  Great to drink during a hot summer day! Portobello Mushroom Burger-   roasted peppers and onions, arugula, herbed goat cheese, balsamic reduction, and a whole wheat bun.  This was such a great burger because I loved how this portobello mushroom was cooked!  It was tend

Gold Spike Grill

If you haven't heard the news lately,  Gold Spike  is under a new ownership.  It is no longer a casino,  and has re-opened into a non-smoking bar and restaurant for the time being.  When I scanned through the menu while I was waiting to be seated, I saw some typical diner foods and breakfast offered 24/7: When we were seated, our waitress gave us a separate notebook-like menu saying there were  100 hot sauces levels 1-10 (!) for us to choose from: The heat chart Level 10 hot sauces - I don't think I can ever handle this level especially the feeling the day after!  Level 1-3 hot sauces - Now these are hot sauces I can handle haha My bestie chose Crystal Hot Sauce  and I got the M&D's Ring of Fire .  Their flavors and consistency were unique from each other. For example, Crystal is a thin sauce and Ring of Fire is a thicker  sauce with tiny chunks of pepper. I chose a simple three egg omelette with spinach and mushrooms, hash brown

Café Zupas at Summerlin

I  again went to another  Cafe Zupas ' VIP dinner event this time at their new west side location along Lake Mead Blvd.  I'm glad that Cafe Zupas is expanding, their food is so worth trying!  The event was pretty much the same compared to the last event on Eastern Ave.: we chose our meal, we all ate, and a trivia game occured througout the event resulting in a lot of prizes given out! I was impressed with the food and service of this location!  If you didn't know, they make some of their foods from scratch, you can definitely taste the freshness with every bite!  I had tried the Pesto Chicken - This sandwich comes with chicken, their homemade pesto sauce, almonds, roasted sweet peppers, muenster cheese , sprouts, and tomatoes.  This was definitely one of the best sandwiches I've had because I tasted many flavors at once which blended all quite well! Wisconsin Cauliflower - Cheddar and Pepperjack cheeses are combined with the cauliflowers making a smooth,

Grind Burger Bar & Lounge

My husband and I were in search of somewhere to eat lunch nearby  McCarran Airport .  That was when we stumbled upon  Grind Burger Bar & Lounge  next to BlueGreen Club 36 .  Upon looking at their menu, we saw that any hamburger could be customized to one's own liking.  We had to pencil in the bubble next to the item that we wanted: Juicy Lucy Adult milkshakes- I'll try them next time! I decided to get the Premium Chicken Breast burger with lettuce, tomato, raw onion, and Roasted Garlic Mayonaise.  Four toppings are included with the burger of your choice, any additional topping is 75 cents each such as pickles, grilled mushrooms, and Buffalo Style Hot Sauce.  There's also premium toppings for $1.50 such as Nueske Bacon and Ajvar .  My husband and I shared the Tall & Thin Fries - my weakness! If you're looking to eat a top quality burger, I recommend eating here!  I hope you'll enjoy this place as much as I did.
