Zoozacrackers Deli

My friends and I enjoyed a comp dinner last Monday at Zoozacrackers Deli (thanks Dan!) inside the Wynn. We each had an appetizer, meal, and dessert. I was starving before I came and my three dishes filled me up quick!

For my appetizer, I chose these crispy potatoes covered with melted cheese and sour cream. It looked so pretty that I didn't want to eat and ruin it's design! The potatoes were savory, I would go back there just to eat this:

My Turkey Reuben sandwich was too much for me. I loved the deli turkey, wished for more sauerkraut inside, the bread was fried in too much butter for me, and was very cheesy. It was so greasy and bad for my arteries, yet so tempting for me to finish it all! I ended up only eating 1/2 of it (I saved the rest for later). I had to make more room for dessert:

For dessert, I had a fat cheesecake slice with strawberries. There was a nice vanilla syrup layered on top of it:

Their utensils were fancy and curvy, I had to take a pic it:

Kabuto

Eating at Kabuto was a wonderful dining and learning experience for my fiance and I.  If you are truly a sushi/Japanese food enthusiast and am willing to pay $$$ for what you get, you must come to Kabuto!

We each ordered some à la carte items and the Nigiri Omakase, which includes an appetizer, ten pieces of sushi nigiri, hand roll, and dessert.  Our chef was the general manager, he's such a knowledgeable man!  He told us about the distinctive features of each fish, what his job entails, and funny stories.  I'm so glad he was our chef!

Since we sat at the bar, we were up close to see how our sushi chef worked.  He wasn't in a rush and we got to see the artistic side of how sushi is made. This made me appreciate my experience at Kabuto much more:

Last note: Finding this place was also a learning experience for us, you may get aggravated looking for it in the strip mall... Kabuto is there! AND it's important to make a reservation before coming in because Kabuto is a very …

Dirt Dog

If you are a hot dog fiend, I highly suggest checking out Dirt Dog! They specialize in gourmet bacon-wrapped hot dogs.  They're originally from LA, recently opened shop here in Las Vegas and planning to open another location on The Strip:

Stockholm Trip '17

Over a month ago, my husband and I embarked on our first trip to Europe!!! We were there for a couple weeks and spent our time exploring the capital cities of Norway, Denmark, and Sweden.  The two things I found most captivating was the art, especially the architecture, and the food!  Our trip started in Oslo, Norway and Copenhagen, Denmark (check out the links at the end of the post for more details) and ended our Euro trip in Stockholm, Sweden:

AB Café Never in my whole life did I eat pastries and drink coffee every morning until I arrived in Europe! A lot of pastries I had were hearty which left me wanting to have at least one daily.  In the neighborhood near where we were staying at was AB Café.  This is a small, cozy cafe where you can have a small bite to eat and drink before you start your day.  Pictured below is their Key Lime Sandwich, latte, and a bullar (sweet bun).  It was a nice fika!
