"Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown" - Las Vegas episode airs on CNN, April 20th

On April 20th @ 9PM,  Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown will be airing it's Las Vegas  episode on CNN .   Bourdain explores different sides of my hometown (yes, there's more than just The Strip ).  He goes to restaurants raved by the locals such as Raku , Eat. , and The Bootlegger .  Also, Bourdain goes to fine dining restaurants like é by José Andrés  and Restaurant Guy Savoy .  I am glad that the topic of the drought in Las Vegas is mentioned, which is something that cannot be ignored (conservation is important!).  The people that accompany Bourdain in this episode include food author Michael Ruhlman , artist  Anthony Bondi , illusionist  Penn Jillette , and former mayor Oscar Goodman .  Here's a preview to the Las Vegas episode or you may see it here :

Brittany, France

I've been a fan of Anthony Bourdain for a very long time, even before he had the show,  No Reservations  on the  Travel Channel . Thanks to Netflix , I get to catch up with this show whenever I get the chance! One of my favorite episodes is when he goes to Brittany. I would reeaaalllyy like to visit this place when I go to Europe: Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations - Brittany

Cake Boss

Lately I've been watching TLC's Cake Boss .  I haven't seen much cakes for special occasions until I saw this show, so it amazes when I see Buddy Valastro and his crew make a cake into a masterpiece.  When I saw this cherry blossom fondant cake being made on the first season, I fell in love with it's simplicity: I saw online through Google and YouTube that this cherry blossom fondant cake is commonly made.  Common or rare, I'd like to have this kind of cake for my wedding :-)

Chiliiiiii Peppperrs!

Being in college has caused me not to have much time to watch tv. I try to catch up with my favorite shows whenever I can. Today I watched the Man v. Food episode in San Antonio, TX. Here's a clip of Adam Richman at Chunky's Burgers taking on the Four Horseman Challenge - eat a whole half pound burger topped with the most spiciest chillis in the world including the Ghost Chili , its 400 times hotter than Tabasco Hot Sauce !
