Maui & Oahu Trip '15

Earlier in July my husband I spent a couple weeks in Hawai'i.  We went to Maui (my first time there) then to O'ahu.  While in Hawai'i I got to see the differences and similarities between Maui and O'ahu.  The one thing both islands had in common was that there was delicious food everywhere!  Here are some of my favorite places we grubbed at and interesting foods we saw: Jack's Inn When we arrived in Maui, we were craving some local food so we asked a few locals what were good local spots to eat at near the airport.  Locals were recommending Jack's Inn so we went there for breakfast.  It's a small diner with a simple menu: I chose the Crazy Omelette with meats that the Hawaiian locals love- 2 eggs with Spam, Vienna Sausage, Portuguese sausage, and green onions!  Despite the variety of meats, I'm glad that one meat didn't overpower the other: Jack's Inn 312 Alamaha St Kahului, HI 96732 (808) 877-3610   Miso Ph...

The Wynn Buffet

There are buffets all over Las Vegas especially in the casinos/hotels.  With buffets, you should explore around to find ones that appeals to you the most.  A place I recommend eating at is  The Buffet  at the Wynn , which is one of my favorite high-end buffets on the Strip :  The meal times and prices: The whimsical-like decor:  This was one of the plates I stuffed myself with.  There are 15 (or 16?) stations there, which include salad, Asian, dessert, seafood, meat carving, Mexican, and Italian.  So there's something for everyone:

Hawaii Trip & ABK Wedding '12

This past December I went to Oahu to get married!  Since planning for my wedding was my priority, I didn't really plan to eat anywhere in particular.  I just went with the flow and ate at places wherever my friends and family wanted to eat at.  Here are some places we ate out at during our trip: Pancakes & Waffles  On the morning of my arrival we to Pancakes & Waffles  for breakfast.  Its a small restaurant and was busy the day we went, luckily our food came out relatively fast! My uncle had the Fried Chicken & Waffle .  This picture makes the food smaller than it seems, I was impressed by the portion size, I didn't know pieces of chicken could be  that big (all thanks to genetic modification)!  My meal, the Mini Breakfast Special  was smaller compared to everyone else's.  For this special you get to choose 1) how you want your eggs cooked 2) choose pancakes, toast, fries or rice and 3) ...
