Cheer Up With Food

My husband and I were in search of somewhere to eat lunch nearby  McCarran Airport .  That was when we stumbled upon  Grind Burger Bar & Lounge  next to BlueGreen Club 36 .  Upon looking at their menu, we saw that any hamburger could be customized to one's own liking.  We had to pencil in the bubble next to the item that we wanted: Juicy Lucy Adult milkshakes- I'll try them next time! I decided to get the Premium Chicken Breast burger with lettuce, tomato, raw onion, and Roasted Garlic Mayonaise.  Four toppings are included with the burger of your choice, any additional topping is 75 cents each such as pickles, grilled mushrooms, and Buffalo Style Hot Sauce.  There's also premium toppings for $1.50 such as Nueske Bacon and Ajvar .  My husband and I shared the Tall & Thin Fries - my weakness! If you're looking to eat a top quality burger, I recommend eating here!  I hope you'll enjoy this place as much ...

If you're craving for some oysters, I recommend going to  Shuck's Tavern .  The location I went to was on W. Flamingo Rd:  A dozen oysters on half shells- fresh indeed! And the cocktail sauce had a nice little tang. Other oyster choices on the menu  are Baked Rockefeller with garlic, spinach, and monterey jack cheese, Fried Oysters , BBQ Oysters , and Raw Oyster Shooters (for 21 and +).  They serve more than oysters, just check out their menu .

Commonwealth  located in Downtown - East Fremont District is one pub I find to be interesting place to hang out at. Here are reasons why I like this pub: The vintage decor Not your traditional art Chandeliers everywhere Crowded, but great service!  There were some interesting craft beers they had on tap. An upstairs patio!  The night we went electronica, old school 90's hip hop, and trap music were playing... All my favorites! The atmosphere was way more chill than I expected, which I enjoyed.  If this is also your type of scene I suggest to check Commonwealth out!

Don't be fooled by  Frankie's Tiki Room 's plain exterior, it's interior is quite the opposite inside with tropical decor (as seen in the photo below) and fun vibe! I was impressed by Frankie's  menu 's long list of their own original concoctions, which made it a bit of hard for me to pick a tiki drink, but eventually chose the Kahiki Kai.   I loved the creaminess and blend of the tropical fruit juices in that big goblet: Kahiki Kai-   Coconut rum, banana liqueur, & pineapple juice. At the bottom of each listed drink, there's a certain amount of skulls that represent the level of 'toxicity' of that drink.  My drink was only 2 out of 5 skulls... So if you want to go crazy, get a drink with more than 2 skulls!
