Gangnam Asian BBQ

I usually have been going to Korean BBQ places that offer All-You-Can-Eat, but have noticed its a hit or miss when it comes to the meats' quality.  Me and my husband went to  Gangnam Asian BBQ , which doesn't offer AYCE, but has Happy Hour meal specials.  Happy Hour is currently everyday from 11:30am - 5:00pm then after 10pm - close, so still a good deal to me!  I was impressed with the quality of all the foods we had. This restaurant also serve soups, rice bowls, noodles, combo specials, salads, and appetizers such as this Salmon Carpaccio .   It was indeed appetizing with the garnishes that came with the fish: Since vegetables are always good for you, we had the Assorted Veggies  plate- onions, corn, zucchini, and peppers just to name a few: I was happy to see scallops on the menu!  These shellfishes are delicious and healthy: Other items I forgot to take photos of were the meats.  I must've been really hungry!  T...

Asian BBQ & Noodles

There's an overabundance of Chinese restaurants in Las Vegas' Chinatown  all over for one to explore.  Some locals and tourists are dead set to their own favorites and Asian BBQ & Noodle is favored by many.  Their name is simple - BBQ and noodles is what this restaurant specializes in making: The Roasted Duck and Roasted Pork dishes with rice are a must try:  Roasted Duck I rarely eat pork nowadays, but when I do sample pork from different places, I'm hardly impressed.  When I first ate this roasted pork dish, my love for this red meat was reignited for a short precious time.  The spices/marinade used and whatever they do to barbecue their pork is beautiful thing: Roasted Pig My dad had asked for a side a beef tendon and they gave him a big side of it covered in a curry sauce: Also, I recommend ordering a noodle dish with your BBQ.  They serve noodle soups, chow mein, chow fun (dry), and pan-fried noodle dishes. ...

Pioneer Saloon

If you're interested in exploring other parts of Nevada or just want to get away from Las Vegas,  Pioneer Saloon  in Goodsprings is the place to visit!  This saloon was built back in 1913 and is full of history : Gate to the outdoor dining area Just walk on over to the general store next to the saloon and order your food. I got the Alaskan Salmon Burger.   The patty was grilled just right!  It came with addicting kettle chips and I got to choose my toppings.  The owner recommended me to try the ghost chili sauce with my burger.  I was hesitant to get it because I can't handle very spicy foods, but he assured me it wasn't that spicy... He was right, the sauce went great with my burger! Outlaw Chicken Nachos If you want to cook your own food instead you can rent a grill and they'll supply the food! Fire pit Loaded Gun Baked Potato-  I was still hungry and got this HUGE baked potato, I think the owner was...

Yagyu Japanese Yakiniku Style BBQ

Yagyu Yakiniku  is one of the plethora of Asian restaurants along Spring Mountain Road that offers yakiniku , which means the Japanese style of cooking bite sized meats or vegetables. Raw foods can be cooked over gridirons, griddles over flame of wood charcoals carbonized by dry distillation (炭火), or a gas/electric grill: Their Exotic Combo was tempting, but I'm not really a fan of beef tongue: My foodie friend and I shared dishes together, this included chicken: two orders of Kalbi Beef:  and nicely cut vegetables (the red corn was my favorite!): Grilling away: In my opinion, I really got what I paid for. These high quality meats and fresh vegetables were delicious with every bite.  I look forward to trying other items off their menu next time I visit! P.S. - This restaurant is also known for their ice cold beer!

Korean Grill House

Last December I went to Canada to visit my family. My cousin, David, brought me to Korean Grill House in Scarborough. I was excited when he said that we get to cook our own food there. There's always a first time for everything! We both had the all-you-can-eat barbeque. The raw items we had were: pork, beef, chicken, ox tongue, lamb, salmon, squid, shrimp, and fish fillet. We also had side orders of rice, soy beans, kim chee, daikon, celery, potatoes, and tofu! Cooking 요리 It was fun cooking at our table, I felt like a chef! The service was exceptional and I wish David was a little more adventurous in trying the lamb and ox tail! haha
